Welcome to CivilMate. This Privacy Policy explains how the CivilMate Chrome Web Store™ Extension ("we", "our", or "the Extension") collects, uses, and protects your information. The Extension is designed to work with the Haryana Engineering Works Portal (HEWP) and syncs data to and from the CivilMate Google Workspace™ Add-on.
To provide its core functionality of automating data entry and extraction for the HEWP, the CivilMate Extension requires the following permissions:
*://*.haryana.gov.in/*): The Extension requests permission to read from and write to the Haryana Engineering Works Portal to automate estimate and billing uploads, as well as extract BoQs and detailed estimates.We use the data accessed by the Extension strictly to facilitate the uploading of your Estimates and Bills data to the HEWP, and the extraction of BoQs and PDF estimates to your Google Sheet. The Extension functions purely as a data bridge between your Google Sheet and the portal. We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or user profiling.
Your privacy is our priority. We do not sell, trade, rent, or transfer your personal information or estimate data to any third-party companies. Your data is synced solely between your local browser running the HEWP portal and your connected Google Workspace™ environment.
The CivilMate Extension does not store your project data on external, non-Google, or non-HEWP servers. All automated data entry happens locally in your browser, and extracted data is sent directly to your Google Apps Script backend securely.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or Chrome Web Store™ requirements. Continued use of the CivilMate Extension after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
